Chapter 2: The Hostage and The Search

Was early in the morning, Donnie woke some dizzy, again he felt asleep working and he felt a lil headache, he stood and almost at the moment his head started to spin but he managed to walk until the house to prepare some coffee until he heard a desperate knock on the door, he went walking fast there and saw Mikey panting grabbing his own arm.

-Mikey? What happened to you?! -asked Donnie.

-Leo and I went to save Leatherhead but it was all a trap! -answered Mikey.

-What?! Wait a sec, where is Leo?! -Donnie was checking Mikey looking for injures or anything that could be an injure until he saw his arm- nevermind... First your arm, then you can tell me what happened.
Donnie treated Mikey's arm while Mikey was telling him everything what happened and also both were hoping to see Leo coming inside the house at any moment but that never happened and it bother them to some degree.

-Mikey! What were you thinking?! -asked Donnie.

-I wasn't! I just... Wanted to save Leatherhead... He is my best friend and I know it was stupid but... -Mikey's voice died, he knew it was stupid and also he put in risk his own brother, Donnie by his side felt his blood boil wildly but before he could explode he saw his lil bro's face, he knew Mikey very well so to him it was kind of weird seeing him that upset and uneasy, Donnie saw kind of worried to his lil bro and sigh.

-I know you wanted to help, Mikey, but we are your brothers, your older brothers, and it's natural for us to be worried about your sake and sometimes be overprotective, Leo mainly since he also carry the burden of being our leader and the oldest one -gently puts a hand on Mikey's head to stroke it gently- we just want you to be safe, you understand it, right?

-Yeah, I do -answered Mikey softly.

-Will you think it better next time you have to do a decision?

-.... Yeah, I will -Donnie smiled to the young turtle which also smiled, they heard a yawn behind them.

-woah... What happened to Mikey's arm? -asked Raphael coming.

-it's a long story... You see... -while Donnie was explaining all to Raph Mikey couldn't help but think on his big brother.

-Leo... Where are you? -Mikey walked to the window wishing silently his brother would appear at any second...

Waking slowly and also somewhat dizzy, he wasn't sure of where was he but one thing was sure, he was right now a hostage... Shredder's hostage. That thought made him growl, he felt humiliated and rage was boiling his blood until it was burning, when he sit more dizziness rushed through his head but that didn't lessen the rage, he opened his eyes when almost at the moment he saw that he was inside a cage.

-Good morning blue boy! -he recognized the voice, turning his head he spotted Tiger Claw that was sit a few meters of where he was.

-where am I? -asked Leonardo.

-On master Shredder's plane, we will arrive to Japan in a couple of hours -answered Tiger Claw, Leo took a few seconds to process what he hear: plane... Japan?... HE WAS FLYING TO JAPAN?!

-JAPAN?! -Tiger Claw has to be kidding, he has to be just playing one of those jokes that are supposed to freak out the prey and nothing else- you're messing with me, don't you?

-Think whatever you want, we are going to Foot Clan's main HQ, master Shredder has plans for ya.

The sudden memory about what Shredder said to him appeared on his mind "… he stole the women I loved, he stole my daughter… so maybe I can stole his precious firstborn son… " he was rather curious about Shredder's new plan but he also knew that he had to find a way to escape, to go back with his brothers since they were his responsibility now that his sensei was... He shook his head, no, he has to be positive, he has to believe on Splinter's ninja skills... He has to put all his faith on him.

-and exactly what is he planning to do with me?

-To be honest I don't know... But if he wants you alive then I will keep you alive for now -Tiger Claw kept crossed arms closing his eyes. Leonardo at the moment knew he will not obtain more information from him, he looked around looking for a way to go out, he tried to take out his arm between the bars when a electric sensation ran through all his body increasing by moment until he was able to make back somewhat confused and dizzy again.

-I forgot to say... It's electrified -added the tiger with a lil smirk, it was not a secret Tiger Claw was a warrior and that he particularly wanted to defeat Leo as payback after he knocked him out so easily during the whole invasion thing, that and to Tiger Claw Leonardo have been always a worthy, more than any of his brothers but also over all it he liked the idea of seeing him freaking out with facts than with any lie he could have said.

-Relax blue boy, there is no way you will be able to go out of there so just sit calm until we arrive.

Even if he hated it he was right, there wasn't so much he could do at the moment, apparently Shredder took his precaution about him, just to be sure if he was correct he look over his shoulder and in fact... They were gone.

-Where are my Niten Ryu? -asked Leo

-If you are wondering what happened to your swords the master took them, where he took them? I don't know -answered Tiger Claw, Leonardo sighed.

-Perfect, just perfect... -hissed Leo, his Niten Ryu were a special gift from his father, he gave them to him once he decided he was in age and enough prepared to use a weapon and since then he has used them just as Splinter told him to do it: with honor and responsibility. Leo set his mind, he will recover his katanas as soon as he can, at the moment he could just sit there, he decided it was better to use correctly his time, putting himself on position he started to meditate.

-well, we have wait enough, we will go to the city and we will look for Leo... I just hope he is okay -said Donnie to his two brothers.

-We will find him and bring him back -added Raph.

-Let's go dudes! -said Mikey standing.

-Sure you will be ok with your arm? -asked the red banded turtle looking to his lil bro.

-I will, now let's go -Mikey's voice has decision, soon all went out of the house but behind them appeared April and Casey.

-Hey there is no way we will let you go there alone -said April.

-We are going with you –Casey was ready with his bag of hockey sticks and others.

-I know you want to help but it can be dangerous and if the city is as bad as Mikey described it…. –Raph was not able to keep because April added.

-Leo is my family too, I will not lose another member of it, I had enough with lose my father again and also Splinter, I’ll not lose a brother also.

-Besides it’s a good chance to kick some robots’ butts, there is no way I will let you all the fun guys –Casey took a stick to make it spin on his hand and return it to the back- also we can take the TurtleRacer just in case we need extra speed don’t ya think?

-Well… maybe some weapons, some upgrades and such will make it the perfect machine for the job, c’mon Casey, lead me a hand –both Casey and Donnie soon went downstairs to start to work in the vehicle.

Hours later finally he feel some agitation around him, turbulence and a movement that gave him the clue that they have finally arrived to Japan, he kept on his position waiting for the signal that he could take the prisoner off of the plane, the turtle haven’t moved since he started his meditation thing and it was not like that matter him so much since he don’t have to be controlling the mutant every moment. That was enough for him, soon he heard how the doors opened and the unloading platform went down slowly, in that moment the foot soldiers started to take down all the boxes that were also there. By his side Tiger Claw did a fast call.

-Master Shredder, what I should do with the turtle?

-Take him to a cell, I will do Baxter Stockman prepare everything for next phase –answered Shredder, Tiger Claw ended the call to turn off the electricity and grab some skin from Leo’s neck.

-What are yo-… -Leo wasn’t able to end the phrase because he felt out cold almost at the moment, then grabbed him by an arm and put it on his shoulder to go out.

-ohh so there is the sleepy beauty -said Fish Face.

-Why we don't just kill him now? -asked Rahzar looking at Leo.

-Master Shredder's orders -answered Tiger Claw.

-oh yeah... He have "plans" for him -Rahzar waved his hand, Tiger Claw just walked inside, the cells were all occupied but he knew exactly where to put him, he opened a special cell that was more reinforced and launched Leo inside.

-Seems like you will have some company -after that Tiger Claw closed the cell and went away, inside the cell a pair of eyes appeared examining Leonardo.

After a couple of hours of hard work the Turtle Racer was finally ready, Casey and Donnie looked at each other with pride. Soon they were on the road in the van and also the Turtle Racer. Once they arrived they noticed the crystal from Dimension X, but not sigh of mutants, Kraangs or anything like that.

-Sure this is the place? -asked Casey through his T-phone.

-The crystals around say a loud yes -answered Donnie- I think they left the city since it doesn't is enough relevant, it is not as big as New York.

-Or maybe they are planning something else -added April looking around- maybe they need humans for something more big.

-That is a good theory, April -said Donnie smiling to her, she smiled back at him.

-Hey love birds, focus -asked Raph.

-We should split up, maybe we can cover more space like that -suggested Mikey.

-Actually that is not a bad idea -said Raph kind of surprised, Donnie by his side stopped the van in front of a building almost at once, Casey had to turn in the Turtle Racer and stop.

-Why do you stop, Donnie? -Casey turned off the motor.

-Listen, we will take Mikey's suggestion to split up, but I will stay here and grab some medical supplies just in case we need them, since here is no longer people maybe we can use some of the medicine, April, can you stay and help me here?

-Sure Donnie, I will help you -April smiled to go out and all the others as well.

-Ok we will split, Raph go to the east -Donnie points to the east- try to find any clue, Mikey over there -points to another direction- and Casey over there -points to another direction- we will keep in touch by the T-phone, if anything happens come back here, as soon as we are done we will join the search, we see here in... One hour?

-Sounds good, let's go! -Raph ran off as the others did as well.

He was waking up slowly, his head was spinning but not as bad as with the dart, looking around he saw he was in another cell.

-<<You have finally awake, young turtle>> -he heard... It was a fluid Japanese, turning his head he saw a short man sat at the end of the cell looking at him calmly.

-Uhm... Hello? -said Leo with caution.

-<<Don't fear, young turtle, I'm not your enemy>> -spoke again the man. Leo knew something: this person was Japanese so the only way to communicate with him was...

-<<Who are you?>> -asked Leo trying to sound natural, his Japanese wasn't perfect, but at less he knew hopefully the enough to talk with this guy.

-<<it's too soon for you to know... But first things first, what issues have you with Oroku Saki?>>

-<<My father used to be Oroku Saki's friend but they fought when they felt in love of the same girl>> -When Leonardo said that the other widened his eyes.

-By any chance your father is Hamato Yoshi? -asked in disbelief.

-You know my father? Hey, you speak in English? -the man nodded to say.

-I used to be your father's Master

-My father's Master?... Then you are "The Ancient One"? -asked Leonardo, as soon as the man nodded again Leo made a respectful reverence to him- it is a great honor, my name is Hamato Leonardo Yoshi, my father has told me a lot about you.

-You also carry your father's name, but how is this possible? Tang Shen and Yoshi just had a daughter, I even though they all died when Oroku Saki.... -the Ancient One couldn't end his phrase, it was hard to remember that day.

-Unfortunately, Tang Shen died, but my father could escape, thinking he lost everything he decided to go to New York, once there he buy 4 babies turtles, but following a strange man his life changed, he got mutated by an weird substance called mutagen, this ooze also mutated the 4 turtles. Those 4 turtles were my brothers and me, Hamato Yoshi took us and raised us as his child’s, since he mutated on a giant rat he changed his name and now we address him as Master Splinter, and about Miwa, she was kidnapped by Oroku Saki, he raised her with the name of Karai, we saved her but she got mutated because Oroku Saki's fault and he blamed master Splinter for that -explained Leo

-And where are your brothers -asked the Ancient One, Leo sighs.

-Hopefully they are safe

Knowing Leo was upset, the Ancient One decided to change the subject.

-So... Your name is Leonardo right? What about your brothers?

-Well, I'm the leader and the older one, behind me is Raphael, he is a hot-head but he is always watching over us even if he don't want to show it, next one is Donatello, he is smart and he help us with the technology, and the last one, the younger brother is Michelangelo, he is cheerful, he loves play pranks but he has compassion, he is innocent and caring, all of them amazing ninjas

-I see Yoshi haven't been wasting his time -commented with a smile the not-so-old man.

-Each brother has trained using a different weapon. Michelangelo use the Nunchakus and this one change to kusarigama, Donatello uses a Rokushakubo that changes into a Naginata, Raphael uses sais and I use two katanas called Niten Ryu -Hearing Leonardo and how he smiled when he talk about his brothers, Ancient one knew his bound with them was strong.

-what about Yoshi? How is he doing? -then he noticed Leo's face turned sad and his eyes reflected guilt.

-We don't know, he lost a battle against Oroku Saki, since then we haven't know anything about him... We haven't lost faith, we want to believe he is ok wherever he is -even with the sorrow in his face, he could say Leo was telling the truth and couldn't hold a smile- there are so many things I want to ask you about sensei...

-Sadly you don't have time -said a voice behind them, both drag his atention to the voice, it was Tiger Claw who almost at the instant with the side of his hand hits Leo's neck fast and strongly making Leo fall on his side.

-Leonardo!! -said the Ancient one while tried to stand but being unable, his ankles where chained to the ground, he could just see how the large mutant taked the blue-banded turtle away...
